Ephesians 4:32

Lamentations 3:22-23

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Father who is full of mercy, the God of all comfort.
He comforts us every time we have trouble so that when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.

Jesus, our high priest, is able to understand our weaknesses. When Jesus lived on earth, he was tempted in every way. He was tempted in the same ways we are tempted, but he never sinned.

Hebrews 4:15

So the Lord is waiting to show his mercy to you. He wants to rise and comfort you. The Lord is the God who does the right thing, so he will bless everyone who waits for his help.

Isaiah 30:18

Suppose a believer who is rich enough to have all the necessities of life sees a fellow believer who is poor and does not have even basic needs. What if the rich believer does not help the poor one? Then it is clear that God's love is not in that person's heart.
